Six suspected armed robbers, who allegedly attacked a female inspector
and collected her bag containing N50,000 and other valuables, have been
arrested by the Lagos state police command.
Punch Metro gathered that the robbers, at the Idi Oro bus stop in the
Mushin area of Lagos, had swooped on the inspector as she alighted from a
commercial bus, at about 10.30pm last Wednesday.
The matter was reported at the Anti-Robbery section of the SDCI and 23
suspects were picked up from the bus stop the following day.The
inspector was said to have identified six of the suspects as the
attackers.
