to set up his business in Lagos.
The man, Gerald Onuimo was charged
before Isolo Magistrate’s court with obtaining under false pretence from
the lady, Christiana Ojukwu. Details of the love turned deceit…
According to police, Gerald defrauded his jilted lover, Christiana, by obtaining N450,000 from her.
It was gathered
that Gerald met Christiana five years ago and he gave her false hope of
marrying her, which prompted her to give him the money to invest in his
business.
